FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

As the pandemic continues, we are still in full operation. Our wall calendars and planners are printed by a network of printing partners around the world, and none of our providers are currently having any delays in production.

We ship orders with a variety of global shipping companies, some of whom are experiencing delays. It is expected that items which would normally arrive within 2-3 business days will now take 3-4 business days. Please be patient when waiting for your order to arrive.

If you are concerned by shipping delays or would simply prefer to print your calendars or planning tools yourself, check out the digital printables which are available as PDF files for imediate download.

Our calendars do not have holiday dates printed on them as not all holidays are relevant to all people. There is however plenty of room on your calendar to write in the holidays and events which you observe.

While we do our best to accurately represent the colors of our products on screen with photographs and graphics, we cannot guarantee that the color you see on your screen will exactly match the color of your calendar. All devices display colors slightly differently, depending on lighting and screen calibration. Please contact us before purchase if you have any questions about colors.

All the wall calendars come in three sizes,

All of our designs are created here in Portland, Maine. Our large wall calendars and planners are printed by our printing partner who has locations around the globe. This saves on both shipping and resources. If you order a wall calendar within the States, your order will be printed in the States, usually in the partner facility that is closet to you. If you order a large wall calendar from within Europe, your order will be printed and shipped to you from a European printing partner.

Unfortunately we don’t offer dry erase / wipeaple / laminated products at this time, but we may add them in the future.

You can get your calendar laminated in a local printshop or office supply store. Alternatively, you can frame your calendar and use dry or wet erase markers on the glass or plexi surface.

Personally, I like to write any fixed dates directly on the calendar, and use Post-It flags for any dates that might change so I can easily move them around if necessary.

If you need a calendar, but don't want to wait for shipping, or if you have access to a large format printer and you don't want to pay for printing, you can purchase a printable version of most of the Plan The Things wall calendars and get planning today.

PLEASE NOTE The following products are high resolution PDF files for instant download and not physical products. If you purchase a printable calendar, no printed material will be shipped to you.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE You can print the calendar from your PDF more than once - do you need one for your kitchen and your office? Cool, go ahead and do that. You can't however print one for every office or classroom in your building at work, nor can you edit the PDF or sell the file to anyone else. By purchasing the printable calendar PDF you agree to use it for personal use only. 

If you're looking for some instant planning gratification, the digital printables are perfect for you.

Nothing is shipped to you - you will receive the file as a digital download that you can print immediately at home or at a local printer.

Choose the file that you need and add it to your cart. When you check out successfully, you will see a link to download the file and there will also be a link in your confirmation email (please be patient, this can take up to 5 minutes).

You can print the file as often as you like or you can use it in GoodNotes or other apps which allow you to annotate PDF's.

Printables are PDF files that you receive immediately after purchase, so you can print them out yourself at home or at a local print shop.

There are two types of printables available - digital versions of the wall calendars, which can be printed up to 30" x 40" and smaller printables formatted to fit A4 or US letter-sized paper, depending on where in the world you are located. These printable

The printables are for personal use only and cannot be used commercially, modified, resold or redistributed.

We have partnered with an awesome organization, One Tree Planted to make sure that for every paper item sold in the shop, one tree is planted. One Tree Planted is reforesting the world by planting trees in North America, Latin America, Asia and Africa. 

At the end of each month, we calculate the number of paper items sold, and donate a dollar for each paper planner to One Tree Planted. One dollar donation plants one tree in an area in the world in need of reforestation. 

We all need to do our bit to help give back to the planet. Just think, every time that you purchase paper wall planners from Plan The Things, you are getting your plan on and you're responsible for planting trees. Every single tree helps - let's work together to plant a forest.

If you order a digital product, it will be available for download immediately.

If you order a paper wall calendar or planner, most orders are processed and sent to ship within 1-3 business days. During the holidays and other busy times, it may take up to 5 business days, please be patient.

You will be notified by email once your order has shipped, and will receive a tracking number for your package. Shipping is handled by over 30 global shipping companies for swift, efficient delivery. The majority of orders are delivered within 2-5 business days, although it can take longer.

Shipping carriers are experiencing some delays due to heavy volume and Covid. Unfortunately delays are out of our control, please be patient while awaiting the arrival of your order.

All of our paper products are printed on demand, which means that we do not have an inventory of already-printed products; when you place an order, the order is then printed, packaged and shipped directly to you.

If your order is defective in anyway, or was damaged in transit, please send an email with photographs which clearly show the issue, including images of damaged packaging if applicable, and we will make sure to rectify the situation.

For digital download / printable PDF products, due to their digital nature, no refunds or exchange can be issued. If there is a problem with your digital file, please contact me so I can rectify the situation.

Sales tax will be charged if you are a fellow resident of lovely Maine.

Additionally, our large wall calendars and planners are printed for us by a network of partner printers all over the globe. If you are in a location where they have a physical presence, sales tax or VAT will be added to your order.

Yes we do! Our large scale wall planners and calendars are printed by our printing partner who has facilities all over the world. This means that you do not have to pay ridiculous shipping charges or wait for lengthy delivery times to receive your goodies.

All shipping costs are charged at a flat rate, dependent on region; see the shipping page for rates and delivery times.

Please note, your order may need to cross a border on the way to you, and so will need to pass through customs. The customs fee and any import taxes due are not set by us and they are out of our control. Any fees or taxes due are entirely your responsibility. Customs usually require that fees are paid in full before the item will be delivered.

Please note, due to Covid-19, there are mail delays which are unfortunately out of our control, please be patient while awaiting your order.

Whilst we work with printers all around the world, orders sometimes have to pass through customs before being delivered. We do not set or have any control over the customs fees and import tax that may be charged. If your order passes through customs, you will be responsible for paying any fees and taxes before your order can be delivered.

Please be sure to put the correct name and address on your order as it cannot be changed once your order has been printed, packaged and mailed. If you are about to move house, please send the order to your new address rather than your old one in case it is delayed in the mail.

Unfortunately our printing partner does not accept a PO BOX or an AFPO as a delivery address at this time. Please use a physical location to avoid delays and possible non-delivery.

Yes! When your order is mailed, you will receive an email containing a tracking number. You will be able to track the progress of your delivery by following the link in your email.

Please note it can take a day or two after orders have been sent for the tracking information to appear online.

Please note, due to Covid-19, there are some issues with tracking not showing the location of your order as accurately as it should. Please be patient while waiting for your order to arrive.

Unfortunately we do not offer that option at this time.

We do not currently sell Plan The Things items anywhere other than this online store and our Etsy site. In the future we may partner with a few select brick and mortar shops to sell select merchandise from our shop.
